System quantity

Preserve the quantity recorded before correction.

System quantity represents the inventory known by SUIGEST360 when the adjustment is prepared.

  • Product / Warehouse stock lookup
  • Automatically displayed after product selection
  • Stored on the adjustment line
  • Used to calculate the difference
Physical quantity

Enter the quantity actually observed.

The user enters the physical quantity found during the inventory check.

  • Non-negative value
  • Decimal quantities supported
  • Initially set to the system quantity after product selection
  • Becomes the final stock quantity after saving
Difference

Automatically calculate the discrepancy.

SUIGEST360 calculates the difference between physical and system inventory.

  • Positive difference: physical quantity is higher
  • Negative difference: physical quantity is lower
  • Zero difference: no correction
  • Automatic calculation per line
  • Automatic total difference
  • Positive, negative or zero visual status
Difference = Physical quantity − System quantity.
Stock update

Align system inventory with physical quantity.

When saving, SUIGEST360 replaces the Product / Warehouse quantity with the physical quantity entered.

  • Product / Warehouse stock created when required
  • Final quantity equals physical quantity
  • Inventory increases when difference is positive
  • Inventory decreases when difference is negative
  • No inventory variation when difference is zero
The adjustment does not simply add the difference: final inventory is directly aligned with the recorded physical quantity.
Stock movement

Trace every inventory correction.

Each adjusted product generates an INVENTORY_ADJUSTMENT movement.

  • Product
  • Warehouse
  • User
  • INVENTORY_ADJUSTMENT movement type
  • Movement quantity equals the difference
  • Document reference
  • Adjustment date
  • Automatic note linked to adjustment number
