Excel template

Download the import template.

SUIGEST360 provides an Excel template used to prepare data before importing.

  • Download directly from the import page
  • Excel file generated automatically
  • File name: initial_stock_import_template.xlsx
  • Recommended as the starting point for data preparation
Using the SUIGEST360 template is recommended to preserve the structure expected by the import process.
Warehouse

Select the destination warehouse.

A warehouse must be selected before the import can run.

  • Required selection
  • Only active warehouses are listed
  • Warehouses sorted by name
  • Warehouse code and name displayed
File

Select the file to import.

The module accepts supported Excel file formats.

  • Required file
  • XLSX format
  • XLS format
  • File selected from the computer
Import

Run the initial stock import.

After selecting the warehouse and file, the Import Initial Stock button starts processing.

  • Warehouse validation
  • File validation
  • Selected warehouse passed to the import engine
  • Excel file processing
Validation

Validate required information.

SUIGEST360 checks required inputs before starting the import.

  • Warehouse is required
  • Warehouse must exist in SUIGEST360
  • File is required
  • File must be XLSX or XLS
  • Validation errors are displayed
Procedure

Follow the import steps.

Prepare the file first, then select the destination warehouse before starting the import.

  • 1. Download the Excel template
  • 2. Prepare the data in the file
  • 3. Return to Initial Stock Import
  • 4. Select the destination warehouse
  • 5. Select the Excel file
  • 6. Click Import Initial Stock
Confirmation

Confirm successful processing.

After the import completes, SUIGEST360 returns to the import page and displays a success message.

  • Redirect back to Initial Stock Import
  • Success confirmation message
  • Another import can then be performed

Prepare imports carefully.

Initial stock import directly affects stock data, so the file should be checked before processing.

  • Review the file before importing

  • Create a backup before a major import
